Daniel Tshin is an ICT Specialist focusing on SharePoint and Office365 implementation and adoption at the United Nations Development Programme and is based in Copenhagen.
With 14 years of experience in the United Nations system, Daniel has architected, built, and managed web-based, knowledge management, and digital workspace systems. Coming from a web design and information architecture background, Daniel has worked at a number of technology companies specializing in web and intranets in the Toronto area, prior to joining the UN. Today he is managing internal applications and advising UNDP business units to bring innovation and operational excellence on an enterprise scale. He has a MSc in Information Systems Management from Liverpool and is fond of photography, cocktails and cycling.
UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. We help countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and build resilience in order to sustain development results.
Daniel’s focus within this agenda is on integrating knowledge and lessons sharing, drawing on perspectives from UNDP’s enterprise IT group.
